Flash Lamp Pumped Nd:YAG Laser

As a branch of solid state laser, the flash lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser always active in the application area of solid state laser. Especially in the big pulse energy application area, It keeps the leading position.

According the pulse width different of laser, there have narrow pulsewidth and long pulse width flash lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser. The narrow pulse width main means the nanosecond pulse width laser and the long pulse width main means the microsecond to millisecond pulse width laser.

According the working type different of laser, there have pulse working, continue working or quasi-continue working laser. The pulse laser often adopts the EO Q-switch or passive Q-switch for the laser output, the quasi-continue laser often adopts the AO Q-switch for the laser output and the continue laser would output laser continuously.

  • EO Q-switched Nd:YAG Laser

We used the high quality stable EO Q-switch, get the giant pulse laser with peak power exceed 200MW. It’s suitable for the application fields which need high peak power and narrow pulse width.

  • Passive Q-switched Nd:YAG Laser

In the application field with limit space, you can choose the passive Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. However, compared with electro-optical Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, passive Q-switched laser has wider pulse width, generally is about 12 to 20 ns, more energy jitter, and also the energy adjustment is limited.

  • AO Q-switched Nd:YAG Laser

In the application field with KHz repetition rate, you can choose the AO Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. generally it can be 1 k – 20 KHZ operating frequency, pulse width, is around 30-150 ns, peak power is far less than EO Q-switched Nd:YAG laser.

  • Long Pulse Nd:YAG Laser

In the application field with microseconds and millisecond pulse width, you can choose long pulse laser. Through different pump sources used, we can easily obtain 100-300 u s, 0.3-50 ms pulse width range laser.
